DIGITIZED LAYOUT / ARTWORK Customer Artwork & layouts submitted as computer files

5. Application Set Registration Marks: Color jobs also require application set registration marks.

6. Trapping: If additional trapping of colors over & above QuarkXPress's capabilities (i.e. graphics imported from other programs such as Adobe Illustrator) is needed, additional charges will be applicable.

7. Hard Copies: Actual size hard copies in proper orientation including all corner crop-marks & fold-lines (handset if necessary) are required with all customer prepared files. Please see that these copies match the dimensions of the supplied templates before submitting files. (If your artwork image is too large to be printed on a single page by your printer, Tile & tape together the print-outs necessary to create the copy you submit to us. Do not reduce the image size to fit the printed page. (Size reduced print-outs are not usable.)

8. Fonts: As font incompatibility can be a major headache, we suggest the use of Postscript Type I fonts, (others are available,) but please check with us before making a final decisions about the font styles you plan to use.

9. Scanning: If any graphics are to be scanned for placement or any formatting changes are necessary to conform to printing requirements, there will be additional charges.

10. Bar Codes: We can generate a bar-code and place it into a completed design if you supply us with your bar-code numbers. Please leave adequate open space in your tray card design (H 0.6" x W 1.25") to be used for bar code placement.

11. Imported Graphic Files: Please Convert to CMYK

12. Photo Shop files: Although it is necessary to flatten Photoshop files in order to import them into the page layout application, it would be helpful to send us the layered version as well (clearly labeled as layered) so that we can make any small changes necessary to accommodate our specifications.
